This room is for children from approximately 2 to 3 years old, depending on your child’s stage of development. The day is slightly more structured with times set aside for the children to sit together in a group and listen to a story or have singing time. They begin to learn colours, shapes and numbers whilst playing and have many toys to encourage development, such as sand and water play,many creative activities, jigsaws, construction toys and books.

We have a garden where your child will have access to bikes, trikes, balls etc. We also have an indoor area that can be used for physical play if the weather is not suitable for playing outside.

There is an area for your child to rest or sleep during the day should they require this.

When you feel your child is ready for potty training please speak to a member of staff so that we can carry out your wishes. We have potties and small toilets and will endeavour to make this stage of their development as stress free as possible.

 We ask that you provide a change of shoes, such as slippers for your child to wear whilst inside and a change of clothes labelled with your child’s name.
